For vehicles with a Smart Key System, the security indicator light will flash after the ENGINE START STOP switch has been turned off, meaning the system is operating. The light stops flashing after ENGINE START STOP has been switched on to ACCESSORY or IGNITION ON mode, meaning the system has been cancelled.

For vehicles without a Smart Key System, the security indicator light flashes once the key has been removed from the engine, notifying you that the system is operating. The light will stop flashing once the registered key has been inserted to notify you the system has been cancelled.
