ABS warning light


The ABS Warning Light will turn on to indicate a malfunction with the anti-lock braking system (ABS) or the Brake Assist system.

Charging system warning light


The Charging System Warning Light indicates that there is a malfunction in the vehicle's charging system.

Cruise control indicator


The cruise control indicator turns on when cruise control feature has been activated.

Electric Power Steering (EPS)


The Electric Power Steering (EPS) warning light notifies you if there is a problem in the EPS system.

Headlight indicator (U.S.A.)


The headlight indicator light notifies you that the side marker, parking, tail, license plate, instrument panel and headlights have all been turned on.

High-beam headlight indicator


The high-beam headlight indicator light will turn on when you have switched on the high-beam headlights.

Low engine oil pressure


When the engine oil pressure is too low, the low engine oil pressure warning light will turn on.

Low fuel level warning light


The low fuel level warning light indicates that your vehicle's fuel level is running low. The actual amount of fuel remaining may vary depending on vehicle; consult your vehicle's owner's manual.

Low washer fluid warning light


When your car has a low level of washer fluid, the low washer fluid warning light will turn on.

Maintenance required reminder


When your car is due for service, according to the driven distance on the maintenance schedule, your car's maintenance required reminder light will turn on.

Security indicator


For vehicles with a Smart Key System, the security indicator light will flash after the ENGINE START STOP switch has been turned off, meaning the system is operating. The light stops flashing after ENGINE START STOP has been switched on to ACCESSORY or IGNITION ON mode, meaning the system has been cancelled.

For vehicles without a Smart Key System, the security indicator light flashes once the key has been removed from the engine, notifying you that the system is operating. The light will stop flashing once the registered key has been inserted to notify you the system has been cancelled.

Slip indicator


The slip indicator light will activate if the vehicle is in danger of slipping or if any of the drive wheels spin. This notifies you that the VSC/TRAC systems are operating. Depending on the vehicle, an intermittent buzzer may sound, too.

SRS airbag on-off indicator


The SRS Airbag On-Off indicator will adjust based off the front passenger occupant classification system. The system will then activate or deactivate depending on if there is a front seat passenger.

SRS warning light


The SRS warning light indicates a malfunction with the SRS airbag system, the front passenger occupant classification system or the seatbelt pretensioner system.

Tire pressure warning light


The Tire Pressure Warning Light notifies you of low tire inflation pressure in any of your car's tires.

TRAC OFF indicator


To turn off TRAC, you can quickly press and release the switch. The TRAC OFF indicator light should then turn on. Push the switch again to turn the TRAC system back on. You may need to turn TRAC and VSC off if your vehicle is stuck in mud or fresh snow, as this will help reduce power from the engine to the wheels so that you can rock the vehicle in order to free it.

Turn signal indicator


The turn signal indicators will turn on when the right or left turn signal has been activated.

VSC OFF indicator


To turn off Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), you can push and hold the switch while the car is at a full stop. You can push the switch again to turn VSC back on again.
