While it has been a fan favorite of utility-loving drivers both here in Torrance, CA and nationally for years now, the 2014 Toyota RAV4 was the recipient of a mid-cycle refresh heading into this model year, and as such, is better and more feature packed in terms of technology than ever before. Yes indeed, this new model is somehow more exciting than ever before.
While the model underwent an extensive design overhaul in the 2013 model year, Toyota still found some exciting ways to innovate and bring the model forward into the future. A perfect example of this innovation is the inclusion of the Entune app suite, and its excellent touch screen interface as well. The Entune system is included on most members of the 2014 Toyota new model lineup.
Even on the base-level model, drivers will find a feature-filled and excellently designed model. There is a 6.1-inch infotainment screen which works with the Entune system included within the dash, and there is also a backup camera standardly included, as well as Bluetooth and iPod connectivity, and an impressive speaker and audio system.
Toyota has also gone in a different direction with the engine for the 2014 model as well. There is now a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine included as opposed to the V6 on previous models, which increases the efficiency of the model by a significant amount.
