The DCH Honda of Torrence blog is a great resource for Torrance and Los Angeles area Toyota fans that want to stay on top of what's going on with the legendary Japanese automaker. We're proud to say that this post is dedicated to a bit more than the fantastic new Toyota lineup at 2909 Pacific Coast Highway Torrance, CA 90505, as we'd like to tell you more about some recent philanthropic efforts the brand took on.
The people in the Toyota finance department teamed with three organizations that work in auto remarketing to make an incredibly impressive gift to one of our nation's most appreciated nonprofits, the Boy and Girls Clubs of America.
Joining with Manheim, Norwalk Auto Auctions and ADESA, an incredible $464, 425 was donated.
President and CEO of Boys and Girls Clubs of America Jim Clark says, "The generous funding from Toyota and its auction partners enable local Boys & Girls Clubs across the country to continue combatting the high school dropout crisis and prepare the millions of teens we serve for college."1
The money will be spread across 19 branches across the nation, and shows just how committed Toyota is to acting as a company that we can be proud of. With economical, safe models like the Toyota Corolla and Toyota RAV4, South Bay, Hermosa Beach, Carson, Redondo Beach, and Long Beach drivers considering a new vehicle should come take a look at everything we have to offer.
