Toyota companies are craving more unity. That includes new Toyota dealerships such as DCH Toyota of Torrance as well as manufacturing facilities in Japan. The benefit is twofold. Ultimately, it will help to create a better informed company. This will in turn, enhance the experience had by everyone from service center patrons to new car buyers.
Among the many services Microsoft plans to use to help improve Toyota's global communications are Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Lync, and Windows Server. "Toyota's decision to deploy Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Lync and Windows Server to its 200,000 employees worldwide is further evidence of the enterprise-class quality and scalability of the world's most popular productivity platform, as well as another key milestone for our growing alliance,"1 says Kevin Turner, COO, Microsoft.
Both parties are confident that the new array of cloud and live environments will foster more communication and collaboration among employees, regardless of their time zone.
